We are a middle aged Portola Valley couple looking for an individual with a flexible schedule to work 10 hours weekly. The person we hire needs to be reliable, punctual, organized, have basic computer skills, an insured vehicle for running errands, a valid California driver's license, and an excellent driving record. Basically, the position is to be available to help with whatever comes up which might include the following: Scheduling, coordinating and overseeing household repair and maintenance appointments. Running errands to the post office, dry cleaners, grocery store, etc Completing and filing paperwork. Responding to emails and updating lists of contacts. The individual must be an animal lover because the position includes assisting with the care of two dogs and two cats. This means ordering food, medicines, supplies, taking the pets to the vet, and handling pet insurance claims. References are required and background will be checked.
