Volunteers are needed for our neighborhood food pantry. Come join other community members on Saturdays! The pantry operates every Saturday from 9:30 am - 2 pm. There are two shifts available.  The first shift is 9:30am - 12pm-ish and involves getting things set up, taking in and sorting food donations from our morning deliveries (from the Food Bank & Food Runners) and then bagging groceries for distribution.  The second shift 12pm - 2pm is distribution and clean-up, though may involve finishing bagging depending on how many volunteers we have that day. This might involve helping to manage the line, hand out bags, help people put bags in their carts to take home, or other assorted tasks.  Please ask for Robert or James when you arrive at the pantry.  https://www.thefoodprogram.org/
