Join Greater Hells Canyon Council and Eastern Oregon Visitors Association for a Sumpter-focused community engagement workshop about the Blue Mountains Trail. The workshops will serve to introduce the Blue Mountains Trail to residents of Sumpter. We will cover the route through town, how we hope to engage and promote local businesses through our trail materials, solicit feedback from residents and open a continuing dialogue on how the Blue Mountains Trail can better serve Sumpter and the broader region. Come join us! Light refreshments will be served. The event will be moderated by Stephen Hatfield from Ptarmigan Collective with support from students at Eastern Oregon University.
