I have a dryer that has been problematic since install. Apparently, whatever you are supposed to attach the dryer vent to wasn't there so the people that installed it just used several yards of packaging tape to I guess fortify it and keep in place. Although the only thing that was there before the vent was a hole I don't think it's actually taped to anything.
Anyways, after the latch began releasing during a cycle. Then one day it ran for an hour and stopped and wouldn't turn on and the laundry was still soaked. How much is it going to cost to repair?
At the moment, I am considering buying a new one. How much would you charge me to pickup a new one, remove the old one, and install a new one? Keep in mind you may have to struggle a bit with the vent. If you know what's supposed to go in that hole the dryer vent is supposed to attach and fix that problem that'll be a load off my mind.
