ORLAND PARK, IL — Orland Park Public Library is partnering with local memory care centers to host a forum for south suburban residents to weigh in on what the library could be doing to serve the memory loss community.
Representatives from the Alzheimer's Association, Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine, Mesulam Center for Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer's Disease, Pathlights and Rush's Alzheimer's Disease Center will be at the June 23 forum.
A representative from the library said the forum hopes to gain information on how the library can design programs for residents with Alzheimer's, dementia and other forms of memory loss.
The forum will be at the 14921 South Ravinia Avenue library at 6 p.m. Register here.
