First In-Person Elementary Spring Concert In 2 Years Held At Maple

NORTHBROOK, IL — There were sights and sounds not seen for the last two years when local students performed as part of the Northbrook/Glenview School District 30 Elementary Band and Orchestra Spring Concert earlier this week at Maple School. The first in-person show since before the pandemic showcased Wescott and Willowbrook's fourth-grade orchestra, chamber groups, fifth-grade band, and orchestra. According to the district, principals Dr. Scott Carlson (Willowbrook) and Dr. Chris Brown (Wescott) welcomed everyone and thanked the teachers, parents, and staff who helped to create this special concert. The music staff included Maple Orchestra Director Renee Yoo, Maple and Elementary Band Director Sam Pilnick, and Elementary Orchestra Director Alexis Barrett.
