Tap is Alive Presents: Loud and Proud We are kicking off pride month with queer performances from some of Detroit’s finest tap dancers and musicians. Join our hosts, Kevin & Shannon for a night of tap dancing our way through queer history to present day. Proceeds will benefit LGBTQ Detroit, a local non-profit, who aims to bring continued visibility to Detroit’s vibrant LGBTQ culture through advocacy. Come vibe with our queer performers as they honor LGBTQ artists of then and now, and immerse yourself in the rich culture of tap dance and LGBTQ history. Doors open at 7:00 Tickets: $15 in advance; $20 at the door Tap dance and drag collide! Please come prepared to tip your fabulous hosts and performers. We care deeply about the safety of our LGBT community, and want to be able to celebrate Pride Month safely. Due to increasing COVID-19 cases in Detroit, we will be requiring guests to present proof of a Covid vaccine or a negative test result taken no more than 24 hours prior to the event.
