The Cass Technical High School Class of 1977 is hosting its 45-Year Reunion in “Gratitude,” August 19-20, 2022 in Detroit. A lot has changed in the world since our 40th Reunion—and even our 60th Birthday Celebration. We are grateful we have been blessed to come together for our 45th reunion. Friday, August 19th. Mixer event. Mix and mingle and enjoy great conversation at Cork and Gabel, 2415 Michigan Avenue in the Historic Corktown District from 5-10p.m. Hors d'oeuvres, open bar and music. Labeled as one of the “15 best restaurant locations in Detroit,” Cork and Gabel boasts an airy indoor/outdoor venue featuring an eclectic patio. Anchoring a corner of a neighborhood experiencing a rebirth, Cork and Gabel also sits in the shadow of the iconic Michigan Central Station (currently under restoration as Ford Motor Company’s new mobility innovation campus). Corktown is home to a lively Michigan Avenue mile of restaurants and clubs just minutes from Downtown Detroit. Saturday, August 20th. Catered outdoor meal and barbeque at Pebble Creek Park in Southfield, starting at noon (rain or shine). Feel free to bring friends and family to hang with us to conclude the weekend’s events. There will be lots of food, music, beverages (non-alcoholic).
