Pole Inspection Crew Member Great opportunity to join an amazing team! $250.00 sign on bonus after 90 days of employment Position Summary Great opportunity to join an amazing team! Alamon is currently hiring for Utility Pole crew members. This job provides an opportunity to gain experience in the electric utility field. No experience is needed, on-the-job training is provided. Pay starts at $15.00 per hour and is compensated with production-based pay where you can be rewarded for your hard work. Our best-producing inspectors have earned up to $22.00 per hour. This position permits over time up to 60 hours per week. We are seeking individuals who are willing to exceed production requirements. Year-round employment for those who are willing to travel. We cover the cost of your lodging and transportation when traveling. Essential Job Functions Work as part of a crew that performs inspections on wood utility poles. Take action to avoid potential hazards and obstructions. Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met. Must be able to pass a drug screen and a background check Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions and work orders Be safety conscious/understand follow company policies Minimum Position Qualifications No experience required, training is available This job requires walking, hiking, digging, and lifting. Must be able to communicate professionally and respectfully. Wear appropriate safety equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures Must be able to work 40 hours a week, with additional time as required Work Environment Will be working outdoors year-around in all kinds of weather conditions and terrain; may work for long periods in hot, cold, wet, windy, or icy conditions.
