Looking for a cover or tribute scenario. No problem building something from the ground up, but just getting really over spinning my wheels with people that never gain traction and progress. Goal is to play a bit. Not saying we have to pack Fremont or a casino auditorium, but progress...something! Please don't mistake this for someone jumping at every bump or pebble in the road and Covid is what it is; just looking to get past an audition stage and the same five songs.
Not interested in playing the same old rehash that you can hear on classic rock radio. Some familiarity is nice but it literally breeds contempt.
Fifty plus is perfectly fine as that is my demographic as well. Good gear, a choice of amps and a solid resume. Just really looking to find a group that likes each other as people as well as playing together. Work 9-5 M-F...pretty open outside of that.
