Description
I’m looking to rehome my buddy - a Treeing Walker Coonhound Pup - named Hank. He loves to be around his people (he will follow you pretty much anywhere unless he’s busy chewing on something) and spend time outside.
It breaks my heart to rehome him, but unforeseen life changes have made it clear I can’t give him the attention and time he needs. He gets along great with other dogs, but would do better in a house without cats and small children not because he’s aggressive, but due to his energy level and constant curiosity.
I’m in the process of taking him to puppy training and he’s picking up on the basics but will need further training - depending on your level of obedience expectations. Potty training has been a challenge and he is improving. I imagine he would improve immensely if he were in a home where someone was always present. He currently weighs in about 27 pounds, so a little on the smaller side for a train walker.
He’s up-to-date on vaccines and has no health issues. The vet recommended waiting until he was eight months old to neuter. He will do best in a home where someone is always present and understands the energy energy level of the breed, and has a yard/acreage for him to run in.
He will make a great pet for the right person/family, this truly breaks my heart to do, so please don’t contact me unless you’re very serious. I will take the ad down once he’s found a good home. Rehoming fee applies to make sure he finds the right person.
