We are a retailer of accent furniture, lighting and home decor seeking an experienced, energetic, detail oriented, organized hands on warehouse/showroom worker that will work directly with the owners, managers, and a team of 5 - 7 warehouse employees regularly. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: - Work with a team of 5 - 7 warehouse staff and assist in showroom set up and design - Must be able to maintain and keep the warehouse and workshop clean and organized - Loading and Unloading trucks and shipping containers -Packing and shipping orders both ground and freight -General cleaning of Warehouse and Showroom -Moving and resetting showrooms regularly -Unload and check in inbound shipments safely and move product as needed -Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate area -Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. Be on your feet for extended periods of time. OTHER REQUIREMENTS -best to have own car with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, otherwise a reliable way to get to work -Arriving to work on time is a must -Good people and communication skills -Comfortable use of hand tools, including screw gun, drill, hand saws, welding and more. -Some experience with woodworking and power tools a plus -Forklift experience NOT NEEDED/no forklift on site. -Loading furniture into vehicles for retail customers. -Must maintain a friendly attitude toward customers and co-workers at all times. -Woodworking experience a plus and may pay more accordingly -We are open 7 days a week, so you may be scheduled on a weekend. -2 days off each week. This may be in the middle of the week or on weekends of both. HOURS 36-40+ hours per week. Position requires high energy, positive attitude, dependability, teamwork and a desire to grow High School or equivalent required Great Opportunity to join a rapidly growing international company $18 Starting pay, $19-$20 after 4-6 weeks depending on your work ethic and performance.
