Job Description Friendly and attentive individuals needed to share the love at SOMA Kombucha's farmers market booths on weekends. Farmer's markets are Saturdays and Sundays. You will team up with other staff members to work usually one of these a week, sometimes two. Please apply only if you're available the vast majority of weekends throughout the rest summer. You will be paid a bonus for working all scheduled shifts. The shift will start at our brewery in St John's either 7:45 (Saturday) and 9 (Sunday). You will load your personal vehicle with kombucha and market supplies, including a 12"x12"x60" canopy (please apply only if your vehicle can fit this, a 4 door sedan or larger will work fine, a small 2-door coupe or hatchback may not). If working solo you will drive to the market, set up, sample and sell delicious kombucha, then drive back to the brewery and unload. If working with someone else you will do either the first 6 hours of this or the second. Shifts will 8-9 hours if working solo, from arrival in St John's in the morning to the end of your unload after the market. Market itself being 5-6 hours. Breaks are fine before and after the market, and for the bathroom during the market which you will work solo. Job Requirements: Previous retail experience Love for kombucha, nutrition, and sharing these with all different people Experience meeting/exceeding sales goals High energy, positive attitude, motivated to work all scheduled shifts Attention to detail, excellent communication, organization, and follow-through Ability to work well with others and solo A highly inclusive mindset and ability to relate with all people, at least a little.
