A previous resident of the apartment complex I live in apparently left their cat here when they moved. Other cats in the complex were getting territorial and attacking her, so I took her in, unfortunately I can't keep her. Since I don't know who her previous owners were, I have scant info about her age, vaccination or spayed status - I don't know her exact age, but I believe she's fairly young and has been spayed, though I can't confirm it.
I haven't been able to get her to use a litter box - you might have more success there - so she needs to be let out to go to the bathroom. She's very good at letting you know when she'd like to go outside, and there have been no accidents at all while she's been with me. She's quite mellow, very affectionate, and has never scratched or bitten me (a first for me as a cat owner.) She's a real joy to have and very low maintenance, it's a shame I can't keep her.
I've had a few neighbors comment that she visits their patios to lounge with their cats, so she may be able to get along with other cats, but since right now she's being harassed by two particularly awnry strays, she'll likely be skittish of other cats at first.
Rhye (feel free to name her what you wish, I just call her that because she looks like a loaf of dark bread when she sits) would be a great companion to a new pet owner or veteran cat wrangler!
