Lab mix looking for a home

This is Delilah. She is a black lab mix I took in after she knocked her elderly owner over. She is a sweet dog, but not aware of her surroundings and does get overly excited from time to time. She does run into my legs occasionally and walks backwards into me. This is fine for me, but I will be moving in with my finance who is a nurse that takes care of her elderly disabled parents. Delilah is good with other pets. My sister lived with me for a year and she was good with her indoor cat. She does however get excited about outdoor cats when she sees them through the window. I have a parrot and she is fine around a bird as well as my other dog. She loves people. She gets excited when someone comes over and is everyone’s friend instantly. I was told she was almost 7 when I picked her up, but my vet thought she was a little younger. That would mean she is almost 9 or younger today. She is current on her shots and heart worm medicine. I think she is due again for shots in September or October. She has black toenails and I don’t cut them myself so she could use a trim. I have a large crate for her to sleep in when I go to work at night. She gladly goes in and waits for a treat. I’ll include her crate, collar and a 40# bag of food. She eats sensitive stomach food, but only because my other dog needs it. She should be fine with other dog foods. She also is afraid of storms and doesn’t like to go outside if it’s raining. She hides under the bed or coffee table if she hears thunder, fireworks or even a trash truck driving over a speed bump too fast. Thanks Feel free to email or text.
