Dylan cover band seeking bass, drums, and ???

Description

I'm putting together a group to play Bob Dylan's music. The idea is to be a little scrappy and rootsy, like Dylan and the Band in the 1966-69 era, but play songs from his entire career up to now. I would like to avoid the super obvious cover songs and do some deeper cuts. Definitely not interested in a traditional tribute band situation where we just imitate the songs and try to sound exactly like them, and no one is going to do the Dylan voice lol. I'd rather study the songs, treat them as a jumping off point, and develop our own sound as a band. Some other groups I'm into that would inform the sound I'm going for: Jonathan Richman, Michael Hurley, Mapache, Bonnie Prince Billy, Weyes Blood, Fairport Convention, Yo La Tengo, Cairo Gang, Pavement, Velvet Underground. I play guitar and sing. Looking for bass, drums, and one other instrument (keyboards, violin, saxophone, lap/pedal steel, another guitar?). Practicing once a week and playing gigs around town is the goal! I have a basement practice space in North Portland. For context, I'm in my late 20's but down to play with anyone that's interested in the project. No cops, bigots, or MAGA folks though. If this sounds up your alley, please shoot me an email and we can chat! What's your favorite underrated Dylan song?
