The Position: We’re looking for a truck technician. The pay range we’re offering depends on how much experience you have and ranges from $19.00 to $35.00 per hour plus bonuses. • We offer health, dental and vision insurance. • We also offer retirement account matching, paid vacation, holidays and more. Requirements: • Automotive or truck repair experience, or technical school training. • Diagnostic / troubleshooting skills. • Knowledge of electrical systems. • Experience with diagnostic software preferred. • Knowledge of federal DOT regulations. • Must have own tools. • Valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred but not necessary. • NYS safety inspector preferred but not required. Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance for medium and heavy-duty trucks. • Inspect trucks for safety and repair concerns. • Troubleshoot customer complaints. • Diagnose and repair electrical systems, brakes, fuel systems, etc. • Troubleshoot engines and transmissions using computer diagnostic systems.
