We fulfill all orders in-house and manage inventory across multiple locations. To succeed, you must be goal-oriented, highly skilled in multi-tasking and customer service, pay extraordinary attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. This multi-faceted job is critical to overall customer satisfaction and success of the winery by providing seamless shipping logistics, execution of the winery’s shipping needs and oversight of all winery inventory. WHAT YOU’D BE DOING - Ensure all winery orders are packed, staged and shipped with efficiency and accuracy (including, but not limited to, our three annual club releases and high volume of holiday orders) - Provide exceptional customer service, including ensuring all customer communications around shipping are sent - Evaluate inventory levels for shipping supplies and wines on a weekly basis; request additional supplies as needed to support upcoming shipping activities - Effectively communicate with Management regarding all wine shipping needs and status of weekly shipment activity - Manage returned orders and communicate with customer to determine resolution - Manage inventory transfers and restocking of all winery inventory areas - Maintain accurate monthly inventory of all winery inventory areas - Ensure cleanliness of work space and winery inventory areas - Maintain organization of our stock rooms. Ensure all products are easy to find by all team members. - Occasionally help with special projects, including retail sales in the pantry shop and winery events EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE - High school diploma is required. While we are willing to invest in training the right person, background in shipping and/or inventory logistics is a plus. WHO YOU ARE + WHAT YOU BRING - Passion for customer service and building long-term relationships. - Dependable and committed to the success of the farm and winery. - Team player who is also able to work independently. - Self-motivated with strong attention to detail. - Results-oriented. - Ability to prioritize. - Strong time management and ability to meet or exceed timelines with accuracy. - Proficiency with computers, UPS WorldShip, FedEx shipping - Fast learner who doesn't need to be taught twice. - Creative problem solver! REQUIREMENTS - Ability to stand for long periods of times, often 5-6 hours - At least 21 years of age. - Able to lift 50 pounds. - Valid CA Driver’s license. The schedule for this position is variable; it may require weekends, periodic evenings, and/or periodic or seasonal overtime. This is a full-time position. Compensation is hourly, starting at $25/hr or higher, DOE. This position is eligible to participate in our commission program. Medical benefits are included.
