I’m a drummer with a wide variety for music taste. I’ve played and currently playing rock, country and pop (oldies) and have this craving to venture out into the world of jazz (contemporary/adult/smooth). Artists like The Rippingtons, Najee, Earl Klugh, Spyro Gyra, etc… Obviously, this project would need multiple instruments or multiple multi instrumentalists. This does not have to be picture perfect but complimentary to original arrangements. Vocals very minimum, if at all. I know a huge question would be “where are you going to play?” Fair question. Certainly not a dive bar, unless clientele and venue cater to said music style. Perhaps this would fall more into specialty forums such as corporate or casino. Any interest and talent that want to join me in this adventure? Familiar with the genre and taste? Let’s kill it!
