This is a full-time, year round position with top pay $$ dependent on your skill level/experience. Overtime pay after 40 hours, 2-3 years experience is all you need to get started here with us. We will help you grow and expand your skill set as we have a variety of projects in all construction sectors, commercial, residential, civil. We are committed to flat work, clean joints, flat edges, straight brooms etc. We require you to be on time. You must have reliable transportation and start and end the day at our shop. Driver license preferred but negotiable. Primary functions as a concrete finisher entails placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete: Setting concrete forms ensuring they have the correct depth and pitch. Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed and float. Chip, scrape, and grind high spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish concrete using pneumatic chisels, power grinders, or hand tools. Lift, carry, push or pull 50+ pounds of material or equipment. Working during inclement weather, could be exposed to extreme cold or heat, noise, and dust from construction operations depending upon project site. Frequently walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing. Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
