Adoptive and guardianship families, please join us in the "Bookworm Gardens" for a lovely picnic lunch in the Bookworm Gardens. The Bookworm Gardens house over 70 unique, whimsical gardens, each inspired by a children’s book! These beautiful botanical gardens highlight enchanting children's literature. The mission of the gardens is to enrich the mind, body, and spirit of the young and young at heart through exploration in a garden environment based on children's literature. We have reserved the lovely outdoor; "Secret Garden" venue on the grounds for families to share a picnic lunch within these beautiful gardens. Families may roam the gardens, explore, and become connected the natural world. Family tickets will not last long for this unique botanical garden exploration in the "Bookworm Gardens". Families may stay in the gardens until closing at 5pm.*Four tickets per family (family size does not include children under 2) *Families please bring a picnic lunch for your family *We will provide bottled water and granola bars *A booklist of children's book related to the natural world is attached *Masks are not required while outdoors, masks are required only in indoor areas When registering, please list all members of your party - first and last name (or last initial if foster child). This is required for contact tracing – please accurately list everyone who will be in attendance. REMINDERS Please do NOT attend an event if you or anyone in your household is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath), or have been exposed to others who have experienced those symptoms within the last 14 days. Regarding COVID-19, please follow CDC guidelines, as well as specific county, city and location guidelines.
