The Lake Sammamish Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership, Trout Unlimited, and Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park are joining together to cleanup after the party. Event Details: Join us at 9:00 am on July 5th at the Sunset Beach Bathhouse at Lake Sammamish State Park for a special park cleanup. Volunteers will spread out around the park to help pick up trash after the busy 4th of July weekend. All volunteers who participate are invited to gather after the event for refreshments. What to bring: Water and a snack. Please dress for the weather. Gloves and bags will be provided. A limited number of "grabbers" will also be available. Accessibility: This event is open to people of all ages and abilities. Cleanup activities will take place around Lake Sammamish State Park on uneven ground including sand, grass, gravel and paved trails. The park has accessible facilities. We understand everyone experiences the outdoors differently and we are open to working with anyone that needs additional support.
