The Workforce Investment Board of Tulare County, in partnership with Kings County Job Training Office and the Central Valley Community Foundation, invites you to attend the Community Economic Resilience Fund (CERF) Information Workshop. This workshop will be a convening of Tulare and Kings County stakeholders participating in a facilitated conversation on the following topics to prepare for the planning phase of CERF:

- The role of Central Valley Community Foundation.
- Engagement levels for local organizations.
- Who else needs to be at the table?
- Next steps and timelines.
What is CERF?
- $600 million state grant program funded by State General Funds
Goal:
- To promote a sustainable and equitable recovery from the economic distress of COVID-19 by supporting new plans and strategies to diversify local economies and develop sustainable industries that create high-quality, broadly accessible jobs for all Californians. These grants support communities and regional groups in producing regional roadmaps for economic recovery and transition that prioritizes creating accessible, high-quality jobs in sustainable industries.
