Gogo is D.C.'s most powerful homegrown cultural creation. Couple that with yoga, and you have YOGO, a self-care movement. Many times people are turned off by yoga because of its representation in the media, the music, and unfamiliar poses. YOGO creates space for people to practice mindfulness. It allows them an opportunity to improve their mental well-being and tap into their potential while enjoying the sounds of the city.
Join us for the second year for YOGO. Meet us at 404 Anacostia Ave on June 11th from 12:00 - 4:00 pm as we flow through an all-level Yoga class led by Jasmine W. The yoga class will feature live Gogo. There will also be a meditation session and a conversation on Community Wellness. We want to create space for participants to engage with all aspects of their health, from diet and nutrition to mindfulness. In addition, there will be 1 Gogo band performing for three sets and vendors. We will also bring healthcare-focused services to the Park. See you at the YOGO!
