NEW HAVEN, CT — New Haven police confirmed that a 15-year-old who was struck by a car while riding his bicycle Sunday has died. Zayne Thomas died as a result of injuries, according to New Haven police spokesperson Scott Shumway. The teen was riding his bicycle on Townsend Avenue just after sunset when he was hit, Shumway confirmed.
