Volunteers wanted for new environmental program: COASTS

Description

The University of New Haven is looking for 20 community members aged 16+ to serve as volunteer "COASTERS". Those selected will take part in a 3-month training by faculty members in areas of ecology, biology, and policy about Long Island Sound. Training will be about two hours a week except for the all-day field days listed below. Following the training volunteers will lead community and professional development events to further spread knowledge about the Sound to the wider community. College credit is available to some volunteers.
