Press release from Town of Pelham Public Library: May 25, 2022 The Board of Trustees of the Town of Pelham Library is happy to announce the appointment of Matthew Kane to the Board. Kane is a marketing and advertising professional currently working for Digitas in New York. He previously worked at Penguin Group USA where he focused on their global digital business strategy in the world of eBooks. Kane will chair the Communications committee. He currently lives in Pelham Manor with his wife and two children. Additionally, the Board is currently looking for a new member to fill a Board vacancy, specifically for an individual with a background in public relations (PR) to chair our Programming and Community Outreach Committee. A background in non-profit PR is a plus. This individual will work directly with the Library Director on strategic engagement of the Pelham community. This individual will also work directly across other committees, assisting them with the Library's initiatives identified in our Strategic Plan.
