So unfortunately I am needing to rehome my Texas Heeler(Aussie and heeler). He needs someone experienced with the breed who is/can get a trainer. He is fear reactive and has nipped people before. Absolutely no kids as they scare him. He is good with some other dogs(except Husky’s) and good with cats. He was my SDIT but we ended up in a bad situation that traumatized him and started the reactivity. My boyfriend travels for work so we stay in hotels where I can’t leave him alone. I work at a riding stable with lots of kids so can’t risk him being with me. I can’t afford a trainer and neither can my boyfriend. He needs somewhere where he can have consistency and a trainer. I am always stressing because I can’t risk a bite and I know it isn’t fair for him. He is 2 years old, walks well on a leash, knows sit, stay and has good recal. Located in Fresno Ca. Currently with my friend as he likes her but it’s temporary. Open to rescue also but have not heard back from any
