After graduating Berklee College of Music and Manhattan School of Music, she was able to exponentially climb Korea’s Jazz charts in record sales and popularity where she then had multiple opportunities to perform with some of the most prominent artists from both Korea and the US. Her prompt escalation in the jazz world enabled her to record ten albums with distinguished labels such as EMI, Warner and Sony. Youngjoo Song is the first female jazz pianist from South Korea to perform at Blue Note NY as a headliner. Youngjoo Song continues to extend her love and knowledge of Jazz by teaching at multiple universities in South Korea. She shares her personal experiences with gospel and classical genres in her correlation to jazz. 명실상부 대한민국 대표 재즈 피아니스트인 송영주님은 지금까지 12장이상의 재즈 앨범을 발표했고, 한국대중음악상 재즈연주상과 음반상을 3번이나 받은 유일무이한 뮤지션입니다. 한국인 최초로 세계적인 재즈클럽 블루노트에서 단독공연을 하고 세계를 무대로 연주활동을 펼치고 있습니다. 클래식에 기반을 둔 탄탄한 음색과 대중음악에 대한 깊은 이해로 조수미, 비 김동률, 엑소, 보아, 양희은, 성시경, 규현,등 유명 뮤지션들이 선호하는 피아니스트로 유명합니다. 가수 윤하의 '빗소리'의 작곡가이기도 하고, EXO 수호와 콜라보레이션한 '커튼'앨범을 발매해 각종음원차트에서 상위권을 기록했고, 얼마전에는 CCM 재즈앨범 [Jazz Meets Hymm3]을 발매하셨습니다. 8년만에 뉴욕에서 처음열리는 콘서트를 이노비와 함께 하게 되어 감사드리며 이노비 베네핏 나잇에서 송영주씨의 특별한 연주를 만나실 수 있습니다. -----------------------John Davis - DRUMS John Davis is an African American composer, musical director and drummer with over 20 years experience in the music industry performing and working with top acts, including Grammy Award-Winning artists: Cassandra Wilson, Esperanza Spalding, Ben Williams, Nicholas Payton and Broadway superstar, Leslie Odom Jr. of Hamilton. As a composer, Davis blends traditional with modern, influenced by his global travels. His hybrid style brings unique versatility to the work ranging from classical, soundscape, sound design, dance, 80s and world. Latest work includes that of tech giants, Google, where he completed a confidential internal project; and a unreleased project for Amazon. He has performed at some of the world's top venues across 40+ countries; made special appearances on major national TV broadcasts, The Today Show, NBA MLK Celebration, NBC Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting and Clive Davis’ Grammy Party; a TED Talk in Trinidad & Tobago; a national TV advertising campaign for Nationwide Insurance; and led musical workshops in Portugal, Spain, Italy and Switzerland. With an impressive discography, Davis has recorded on over 20 albums across his career, including most recently Leslie Odom Jr.’s Simply Christmas Deluxe Edition on S-Curve Records; and Japanese pianist Chihiro Yamanaka’s, Rosa, on Blue Note Records (2020). A Washington, D.C. native, Eric Wheeler has been studying string bass for 20 years. At age thirteen he was accepted into the Duke Ellington School for the Arts, where he began his study of jazz music. In 1998, Wheeler was accepted into the prestigious National Symphony Youth Fellowship Program, which provided him with a strong technical facility that would help him to earn a solid reputation amongst his musical peers. Wheeler received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Howard University in 2006. Since then he has toured the world and performed with many notable jazz artists including Stephon Harris, Tim Warfield, Benny Golson, Curtis Fuller, Delfeayo Marsalis, Russell Malone, Pharaoh Sanders, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Terell Stafford, and Cyrus Chestnut. Mr. Woongsoon Lim started his assignment in New York as Deputy Consul General of the Republic of Korea (ROK) in December 2020. He joined the ROK Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1988, and had served as Principal Secretary to the Foreign Minister, Deputy Director General for North Korean Nuclear Affairs and Director General for Human Resources. He had been assigned to ROK Embassies in Madrid, Nairobi, Paris, Rome, Vienna and Washington D.C. He studied Economics at Yonsei University in Seoul and is married with one son and one daughter. -----------------------EnoB Benefit Night MC - Traivs Artz Travis Artz is best known as the voice of autobot Hot Rod in the long-running Transformers: Cyberverse (CARTOON NETWORK, NETFLIX). In addition to his voice work, he can be seen on-camera in the hilarious Becoming Jiff (AMAZON). As a singer/songwriter/musician, Travis’ musical talents (including instruments such as the guitar, bass, ukulele, and mandolin) have also been seen on many Off-Broadway and prominent regional houses such as Papermill Playhouse and Geva Theatre. Children under the age of 18 are exempt. Valid proofs of Covid-19 vaccination include NYC Covid Safe App, Excelsior Pass, CDC Vaccination Card or its Photo, or NYC Vaccination Record. Patrons must have received their vaccine shot (both doses if applicable) at least 14 days before the event date. Proof of a negative test will not be accepted as an alternative to vaccination. The only possible exemptions are for medical or religious reasons. To request an exemption, guests have to send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: EVENT NAME – DATE and need to attach the necessary documentation from a doctor or a note from a religious leader on official letterhead.
