Company Description: AG Network Cabling networking services customers in the Hospitality, Healthcare, as well as different Government Agencies. We specialize in PBX (on premise or cloud hosted), IP CCTV, Wireless HSIA, IP Access Control, Managed Services, Optical Networks and dial tone provider.
Job Description: A field technician will be asked to perform the following:
Install low voltage cabling (Cat6, etc.) for both new construction and retrofit projects.
Install network equipment such as managed network switches, IP cameras, wireless access points, and IP phones.
Troubleshoot network/wiring/equipment problems for existing CCTV, WiFi, and PBX customers.
Assist with building servers (bare metal and virtual hosts running VMWare ESXi).
Candidate must have the willingness and ability to travel for project installations around the U.S.
On site troubleshooting of PCs and printers for Managed Services customers.
Job Requirements:
Basic understanding of network cabling
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to climb a ladder (installation of cabling/cameras/wireless access points).
Good communication skills (via email and in person).
Asterix phone systems knowledge a plus
Mitel and or any other IP Phone systems a plus or equivalent but not mandatory
Experience with IPCCTV installation and troubleshooting a plus.
Must have weekend availability
Must be willing to travel for days at a time depending on job
