Shell Casing Found Outside Bridgewater Middle School

BRIDGEWATER, MA — A shell casing was found outside a middle school in Bridgwater Thursday morning. Police say the casing was found near the front entrance to Williams Intermediate School on South Street. Officials are currently reviewing surveillance footage to determine how the shell casing ended up on the property, but there was no damage done to the school. Classes at the school were never canceled, but parents were notified about the finding. Bridgewater police officers have been at the school this week in the wake of the mass shooting at Uvalde, Texas. No additional information was immediately available.
