PRINCETON, NJ — YWCA Princeton recently welcomed its new Chief Financial Officer and an administrative coordinator.
René Baker will serve as the new CFO. She has more than 25 years of experience in leading change, transforming businesses and developing teams. Also joining the organization is Brigitte Jean-Louis, in the recently created Administrative Coordinator position.
As CFO, Baker will plan, implement, manage, and control all financial-related activities of the organization and will collaborate with leadership and the Board of Directors in strategic decision-making and operations.
Her most recent role was at Johnson Matthey, as CFO of the New Markets Sector.
Jean-Louis is a recent graduate from Kean University where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Communications. In her final semester at Kean, Jean-Louis completed an internship with the New York Jets centered on youth marketing
She will work to support the senior leadership team at YWCA Princeton and act as a liaison for the Board of Directors. She will also lead racial justice and advocacy efforts. "Both René and Brigitte bring the professional skills and personal advocacy needed to thrive in their respective roles, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome them to our team," said YWCA Princeton CEO Tay Walker.
