Coastal Birds Camp is a nature day camp for ages 10-12 from July 11-15, 2022. Camp meets 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the beautiful San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary in Irvine with one off-site day trip to Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve in Huntington Beach. Campers will learn basics of birding, types of shorebirds and how to identify them, and what we can do to protect coastal birds of freshwater and saltwater marshes. During the week, children will take daily walks, keep a nature journal, create nature art, and learn important bird topics taught by enthusiastic and experienced Audubon Naturalists.
