Description

AfroXotica a Night Dance Class with choreographer Andrea Peoples. Explore the dance and rhythm of Africa and the Caribbean with live drumming and DJ. Additionally, we present a Moko Jumbie (Traditional stilt walker) at the community White Linen dinner on Commerce Street. A short performance will be at approximately 7:30. Originating in West Africa and believed to be a guardian of the people, the Moko Jumbie exhibits astonishing skill, balance and talent. A sight not to be missed! Donations will be greatly appreciated so we can continue to bring exciting cultural experiences to Natchez!
