**This is a 2.4 mile 'easy' trail with a slight elevation gain. There is also an option for a shorter route ~1 mile.**

From I-29, take the 64th street (Highway 45) exit, go west two miles to Highway 9, turn south (left) at Highway 9. Go to 12th street, and continue to the access through Parkville Nature Sanctuary behind the Platte County Health Department. There is parking at the trailhead.
Recommended items to bring: hiking poles, water, sturdy shoes.
