Press release from the City of Ames: May 24, 2022 Union Pacific Railroad will be closing the Duff Avenue railroad crossing from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 27, for emergency rail repairs. There will be no access across the Duff Avenue tracks, and the sidewalks will be closed.
