LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports: Warrants Juan Barrientos, 23, of La Grange, was arrested about 4:30 p.m Friday in the 1000 block of Eighth Avenue on a warrant. He was taken into custody after police responded to a disturbance. Cordell Long, 33, of Chicago, was arrested about 8 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of La Grange Road on a DuPage County warrant. He was taken into custody after police responded to a solicitor complaint. Long matched the description of the solicitor. DUI Nina Scavone, 26, of Chicago, was arrested about 1 a.m. May 17 in the 9600 block of Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper parking on the roadway. Damage A window was reported broken Monday on the second floor of a building at 80 Sixth Ave. Theft A woman stole hair care products worth about $20 on Monday at Floyd's 99 Barbershop, 71 S. La Grange Road. Identity theft A resident in the 200 block of South Madison Avenue told police Tuesday that someone applied for unemployment benefits in the resident's name. The resident also reported someone attempted to open a credit card account in the resident's name. No losses were reported. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and people charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
