Press release from the City of Champaign: In order to install utility connection at 411 E. Green Street, Mid-Illinois Concrete has closed Fifth Street between Green Street and John Street. The closure began on Monday, May 23, and will reopen on Friday, June 3, 2022, weather permitting. Through traffic is not allowable in this block, but access will be maintained to all properties.
