Rehoming one of my chinchillas, he is a senior and unfortunately does not get along with other chinchillas. Because of his older age we believe he has developed mild arthritis so we keep his cage very accessible and easy to navigate, his vision is also not as good as it used to be. He’s a very sweet boy and loves to be pet but doesn’t tolerate being picked unless with a blanket/towel. He will crawl onto you if you let him which is the best way to handle him. He loves to run around and explore. If you have a playpen he would love to play/bond with you in them. His diet is chinchilla pellets and Timothy hay, as well as occasional dried fruit as treats.
