Press release from the Tuscaloosa County School System: May 25, 2022 This morning, there was a vehicle fire in the Hillcrest High parking lot, that spread to other vehicles. The fire is contained, and the fire department is on scene. No one was injured, and students are remaining in the school building, while the fire department works the scene of the fire. Today is an early dismissal day, and dismissal procedures will go on as planned. If there are any further updates, we will post them here and send a phone call to Hillcrest families.
