Teufel Landscape is looking for an Irrigation Technician Assistant to join our team. You will be assisting the current Irrigation Tech with daily tasks and duties. This position would be based out of the Boeing facility in Auburn, WA. You will be working with large pipe valves installing commercial landscape irrigation systems. This is a full-time position. Monday – Friday. Pays $18-$22 an hour depending on experience. Responsibilities and Duties Ensures spring turn on and winterization of irrigation systems. Completes various repairs and troubleshooting throughout the year. Helps Irrigation Technician manage and install irrigation systems when necessary. Ensures a secure and safe environment for site inspections. Ensures the required tools and materials for projects including necessary inventory. Monitors the irrigation system in terms of usability and maintenance programs. Coordinates repairs with the Irrigation Technician based on the needs of the customer. Performs additional duties as assigned by the Irrigation Technician Qualifications and Skills Knowledge of irrigation and irrigation systems Ability to effectively communicate, present information and respond to questions, both verbal and written. Ability to organize, multi-task, plan and set priorities with minimal supervision. Ability to work independently and in team settings. Ability to exercise good judgment with a strong attention to detail. Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels. Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test and Background Check! Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
