Dobson Ice Arena is seeking several Full-Time, Year-Round, Bennefitted employees to assist the running of our local ice rink. This position assists the Ice Arena Manager and Assistant Manager to performs specific cleaning, maintenance, and office assignments as directed. Benefits include Health (including Vision and Dental) Insurance, Retirement Plan, Ski Pass, Parking Pass, and access to VRD activities such as our restaturant, golf, tennis, pickleball, etc. Responsibilities Include: Responsible for daily opening and/or closing of the Arena and assuring that the building and immediate area around the building are cleaned according to a pre-determined schedule and/or according to the immediate needs as they arise. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to cleaning, score keeping adult hockey games, and providing proficient customer service. Maintain and sharpen rental skates to insure customer satisfaction. Work closely with management to insure necessary issues that arise daily are taken care of and management is notified of any issues that still need to be addressed. Other Duties/Responsibilities: Learn operation of ice resurfacer and perform ice resurfacing and maintenance as directed. Assist in skate rental and main office areas as needed. Actively participate in installation, removal, and maintenance of ice surface as required. Job Type: Full-time
