Ferris needs a lifetime of DAYS OFF from the shelter! ❌❌ He has been at the shelter since January 25, 2022 After almost 5 months MCACC has Ferris scheduled for EUTHANASIA on 6/2/22 for deterioration in his kennel. Well… duh!!! His deteriorating is related to living in a kennel for nearly 5 months, only being walked every 5-7 days, limited human attention, and frustration… LETS GET THIS YOUNG GUY A HOME!! We have no information on how he is with other dogs outside the shelter, but the shelter notes show he has been non-reactive to other dogs in their kennels. He would benefit from some quiet decompression in the home before a slow, gradual introduction to other dogs in the home. Ferris is a healthy, active, 2 yr old dog! He loves playing with balls /toys. He knows fetch! He sits for treats and takes them gently. Ferris has been sensitive to the heat so his daily walks (necessary for such a young dog) should be in the early morning.
