Description
A 40 gallon breeder planted paludarium that is doing wonderfully. It is pretty self sufficient. I water the plants once a week until the water level is where I want it (some evaporates throughout the week).
The plants are planted in substrate that is kept in a custom expanding foam molding I made. The bottom of the molding is made of aquarium sponge so it helps keep the plants watered from the roots. Has an LED light and aquarium lid (lid traps the humidity that the plants need). It also has a pump that feeds through Driftwood and acts as a water drip feature to keep the surface of the water aerated.
I spent around 700 dollars making it, asking 400 for everything. Comes with a stand. Would be a great setup for some newts or dart frogs.
