The Janitorial Area Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation and administrative activities to ensure conformity to contract requirements. Develops and implements cost control measures and level of service standards to ensure compliance with customer specifications / contract requirements for assigned buildings. Oversees inspections, manages custodial teams, monitors quality control measures, and the inventory control of equipment and supplies for the assigned projects. Must have supervisory experience and detailed experience in the Janitorial/ Floor Care Industry. Summary/Objective The Janitorial Area Manager will be responsible but not limited to ensuring the safety of our staff, timely and accurate digital timesheet oversight, ordering of supplies, site inspections, meeting the needs of our clients and direct oversight of custodial services to clients. Self-driven, detail oriented.  Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills.  High level of integrity and commitment to the work.  Proficiency in Bidding Industry Proposals  Demonstrated Floor Knowledge – Carpet, Wood, Vinyl, Etc.  Bilingual a plus!  Flexibility with working hours to support operations as required.  A desire to serve our customers and a passion for teamwork!  Excellent customer service skills.  Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Able to work independently with little or no supervision.  Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and all federal, state, and local government regulations.  Direct communication with Senior Management regarding employees and customer matters. Authorized to work in the United States.  High School Diploma or equivalent.  Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.  Valid driver's license and own transportation.  Bilingual Spanish.  1-3 years Management experience.  1-3 years janitorial, housekeeping, custodial or restoration field experience.  Must consent to pre-employment screening including drug test, background check and DMV record check if offered position.
