CareScape is NOW HIRING an Arbor Field Production Supervisor! Job Overview: The Field Production Supervisor under the direction of the Arborist oversees the production of the Arbor department assuring the implementation and monitoring of safety practices. Responsibilities: • Provide support & training to Arbor crew to ensure safety procedures are being followed. • Supervise jobsite and assist with scheduling. • Oversee subcontractors for each jobsite. • Knowledge of reading maps to identify tree species and prepare estimates for new jobsites. • Trim, top, and/or cut away dead/excess branches from trees and remove branches for property clearance. • Perform tree removal/felling and remove brush, trimmings, and other debris. • Safely operates machinery. Qualifications: • Must have experience supervising Arbor activities including all phases of tree removal. • Able to manage multiply teams efficiently and work well independently. • Efficient communications skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites • Experience in gas powered tools including but not limited to chainsaws, grinders, blowers, hedgers, woodchipper, crane operations, bucket truck, and trailer. • Experience of hand tools including but not limited to clippers, rakes, shovels, hand/pole saws. • Valid Driver’s License • English required. Spanish a plus. • Arborist Certification (or other industry certs.) a plus. Great competitive starting pay for experience and certificate holders.
