We are a Masonry company located in Huntington Beach serving mostly OC/LA areas. We are looking for someone to assist in the following: Assist in the construction and installation of various masonry and hardscape projects such as full bed veneer, thin stone veneer, wet laid and dry laid walls, walkways, patios, retaining walls, fireplaces, and other decorative landscape installations using brick, stone, tile and/or pavers. Assist in the preparation of job sites prior to the beginning of a project. Operate various tools and equipment, including but not limited to cut off saws, angle grinders, hammers/chisels, mixing equipment, mason trowels/floats, compactors, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, rakes, skids, hammers, drills, etc. Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required for the project. Assist foreman with any job-related tasks. Properly mix various grades of mortars. Properly mix, pour, and spread concrete. Assist in building and dismantling forms used for pouring concrete. Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily basis. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to execute work. Complete and submit daily paperwork.
