Scrap metal collectors don't want ceiling fans?

Is there no money in recycling the copper in the fan motors? I figured it would be a pretty sweet score for most scraps dealers as most fans don't take up too much room, and they're typically pretty dense on the copper. Even the rest of the housing is still recyclable. *shrug*
