Clicker & Harness Trained Young Male Guinea Pig

Events

Seattle WA

Description

Oliver was a guinea pig who was discarded in an obscure place where he had little chance to be found nor likely survive yet miraculously was saved. All due to chance because of the Seattle community coming together for him. He’s a very well socialized piggy who LOVES to be held and cuddled for extended lengths of time. He’s rarely vocal, but when you stroke his fur along his spine backwards he’ll subtly purr or make adorable popcorn noises. When he wants to be picked up, he’ll stand up against the edge of his enclosure. He gets along well with cats or dogs who are excellent with small critters. Oliver has taken to being clicker trained. He has learned to follow a target, twirl in circles, climb a platform and sit pretty as well as a handful more tricks. He will continue to learn increasing his trick repertoire while he’s being fostered. He LOVES learning as he’s quite brilliant. He even has taken to harness training. He’s already seen a bit of the city’s famous landmarks, such as the Pike Place Market, Space Needle, Ballard Locks, Discovery Park’s lighthouse and so much more. Oliver deserves to find his forever home and piggy friends. He’s approximately a year old. He’s Available at Seattle Animal Shelter for $15. His animal ID# 50242540.
