Liturgical rite where the Bishop welcomes Catechumens and Candidates in the final part of Christian Initiation before entry into the Church. We invite you to join us in celebration at the Rite of Election ceremonies at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament. The Bishop will welcome Catechumens and Candidates into the final period of Christian Initiation before entry into the Church. The church capacity will be limited to 350 people at per service. There will be no reserved seating. Ushers will direct people into their pews utilizing social distancing. Catechumens will still come forward to sign the Book of the Elect, but will return to their seats to stand by their sponsor as they are addressed by the Bishop. .
